6–8 pineapple rings (fresh or canned in juice)

Maraschino cherries (optional, for garnish)

1 tbsp Stanky Sauce Pineapple Habanero Ghost

For the Cake Batter:

1¾ cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp cinnamon (optional, adds a warm spice)

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup pineapple juice (use the juice from the can or fresh)

¼ cup sour cream or plain yogurt

1–2 tsp Stanky Sauce Pineapple Habanero Ghost (adjust to your preferred heat level)

🧁 Instructions

1. Prepare the Pan

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
Melt ¼ cup of butter and pour it into the pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the melted butter.
Lay pineapple rings over the sugar layer, placing cherries in the centers if using.
Drizzle 1 tbsp of Stanky Sauce Pineapple Habanero Ghost over the fruit for a spicy glaze.

2. Make the Cake Batter

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
In a separate large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
Beat in the eggs one at a time. Add vanilla and 1–2 tsp of Stanky Sauce.
Stir in the pineapple juice and sour cream until fully combined.
Slowly mix in the dry ingredients just until smooth. Don’t overmix!

3. Assemble & Bake

Carefully pour the batter over the pineapple layer and smooth the top.
Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake rest for 10–15 minutes, then carefully invert onto a serving plate.
