FAQ

Our sauces

How hot are your sauces?

Every bottle has our Adventure Meter on the label: five monkey heads that show the heat level. From mildest to hottest:

Florida Sunshine BBQ Sauce: ½ out of 5
Garlic Datil: 2 out of 5 (some older labels show 1, but it packs a little more heat than we first rated it)
Honey Mango Habanero: 2 out of 5
The Clásico: 2 out of 5
Sweet Jalapeño Reaper: 4 out of 5, our hottest, made with Carolina Reaper

Are your sauces vegan?

Garlic Datil, The Clásico & Sweet Jalapeño Reaper are vegan. Honey Mango Habanero is not, because it contains honey. Florida Sunshine BBQ is not, because the molasses we use is processed with bone char. Check each product page for full ingredients.

Are your sauces gluten-free?

All of our sauces are made with gluten-free ingredients. They are not officially certified gluten-free yet.

Where are your sauces made?

In small batches in Florida, at an SQF-certified, FDA-registered facility.

Do I need to refrigerate them?

Shake well and refrigerate after opening, as noted on every bottle.
